Terms and Conditions of Joining our Wait List:
It's so important that each of our puppies have a loving, secure forever home where they are a loved and important part of their family.
Wait Time:
The typical wait time after applying is 2 - 6 months. Your specific requests will depend on the wait time. We have fewer litters of Toy Cavapoos - so that wait time is more variable. If you are willing and content to wait, we would be honored to raise your Cavapoo puppy!
Sizes Offered:
Traditional Mini Cavapoo - The poodle parent is a Miniature Poodle. The full grown size will be generally within the same range as the breed-standard for a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Both parents of these litters weigh between 14-22 lb. Puppies will range typically 14-22 lb. But we have had everything from 10 pounds to 28 lb.
Toy Cavapoo - The poodle parent of these litters is a Toy Poodle who weighs 8-9 lb. The Cavalier parent weighs 15 lb or less. Puppies will range between 8-15 lb.
There is no guarantee on full grown size of your dog; we can only state what we expect based on parent's sizes and past litter experience. There is always a percentage of puppies that be outside of the expected range; smaller and bigger both.
Cavapoo Generation:
Our cavapoos are F1 (First Generation). This means one parent is a Purebred Cavalier King Charles and the other parent is a Purebred mini or toy Poodle. First generation cavapoos are 50% Cavalier King Charles and 50% Mini or Toy Poodle.
Adoption Fees:
$2,800 for our Traditional size and $3,500 for our Toy size.
For our Iowa Sales and puppy pick-up in Iowa, we are required to collect Iowa's 7% sales tax. Checks (personal or bank checks are both fine) are requested for final payments when the puppy is 7 weeks old. Puppies go home around 9-10 weeks old.
Coloring:
At this time, most of our puppies are considered apricot, tan, buff, red or ruby (some with or without white markings). We are also now occasionally getting black/tan, tri color, blenheim, black and merle coats. (Merle - toy only)
Puppy Selection Process:
You do not lose your place in line for passing on a puppy at any time. When a new litter is born, we will start "Back at the Top" of the Wait List to fulfill that new litter's "Selection Order." People can "pass" on any litter/puppy and be contacted next time.
Specific requests can affect the Wait Time; but just Specify "open to all" if you'd still like an opportunity on any puppy that does not match your preferences.
I.E. If you say "prefer male" and do not say you are open to adopting a female, we will pass your name if there is no male available. The same goes for timing, size, and color preferences.
Joining the Puppy Wait List:
After submitting your application, you will be notified by email about placing a deposit to secure your placement on the Waitlist. We accept check or Venmo for the deposit.
All deposits are non-refundable but always transferable. The $300 deposit applies to your total puppy payment. The adoption fee is secure at the time of submission for 2 years. After two years, you are subject to any adoption fee increases and might be asked to re-submit a Puppy Application.
We reserve the right to refuse or refund a deposit and/or reservation at any time. It is important to us that we feel very comfortable with the homes our puppies are going to!
